Evergreen Brass Quintet. Founded in 1981 EBQ is an award winning ensemble-performing concerts throughout the Northwest. The quintet is well known for its’ educational and entertaining school programs. EBQ has received grants for educational programs from the Tacoma Arts Commission, the Pierce County Arts Commission, the Cheney Foundation and the Fuchs Foundation. EBQ is listed on the Washington State Arts Commissions Educational Roster, and performs week long educational and community oriented programs (Rural Residency) thought Arts Network of Washington State.
Formal and less-formal concerts, school programs, clinic and seminars presented in a relaxed and communicative manner are EBQ’s trade marks. With their consummate musicianship, contagious warmth, and enthusiastic spirit, the Evergreen Brass Quintet attracts audiences as varied as the music they perform.
